    Excellent day!

Your best bet is to go for quality first. For a gym floor that you will be putting exercise equipment on, you need to be sure that the vinyl is strong enough to help the equipment.

A 2″ thick mat is *not* excellent for this, as it will likely rip. 1 3/8″ is what you need.

Be careful about the cleaning properties of your mat too – Anti-Fungal and Anti-Bacterial, you need it to resist mildew, water and rot, and you should look for something easily cleaned using mild soap and water.

    Excellent luck!
