What are the most nessessary power tools for small/medium wood projects?

I agree with Dan the brick man, And remember, You can not have to many clamps. I have over 100 and can always use more. When you start out wood working you will find that you are going to be busy all of the time. You may have 2-3 projects going at the same time. I say again You cannot have to many clamps.
A peg board is also clever to hang those clamps! Wood dull bits up to an inch diameter are clever, countersink bit, various sized phillips, robertson and flat edge screwdrivers. Palm sander.
