I’m studying filmmaking in university and have worked on a couple productions quickly learning equipment names etc, but there is still much I don’t know obviously.

What are some good sites/books that list all the names and description of lighting equipment, low budget cameras, and everything else that may be of use to know beforehand when going to work on productions, mostly low budget shorts? Or anything else that may be of use to know such as new equipment/cameras coming out and reviews etc?

I’ve been looking for an online store to buy Snowboarding equipment. My brother suggested boardsforless.com where he bought his board from. Every review i’ve read about this site has been nothing but bad stuff. People aren’t receiving their equipment or can’t get a tracking code from the store. I’ve also heard rumors that their phone number dosn;t work either. Does anyone have some information on this site or know of a site where I can get discount gear or package deals?

I want a home recording studio so i can record my music. I need it to be pretty descent because i send allot of my music to professionals for review. I need help with everything. WHERE can i cut back on the price of equipment and still get Good Quality? i need help picking keyboards,MICS,interfaces, EVERYTHING THAT A HOME STUDIO must have. I am looking for a new gun, preferably around or under $200 (parents are strict about money spending) and i need a good place to look for all kinds of airsoft guns and/or equipment. Ive looked at AirsoftGI and redwolf airsoft but they dont quite give me what i want. Everytime i see a gun that i think i might want and i go to look at the reviews and stats, there is always something i REALLY dont like about the gun, like comes with a NiCad battery or has a slow ROF. please help

But the only one that fit my budget and fit my statistics needs, as one reviewer put it, “has sharp RIS rails on the foregrip.” I dont really want a gun that will cut me when I use it, and i don’t like the feel of a foreward grip-handle. please help.

i need a store or website that is cheap and has quality equipment for fighting i went to this one website and it had good stuff but there were no reviews so i didn’t know if the stuff was really as good as it said it was all i want really is a bag gloves and maybe some other stuff i need this stuff for MMA training so it has to be a good brand and i don’t have a lot of money on me so i need it to be some what cheap thanks like to website would be nice and if its a store make sure its in MI in Detroit area
the century is a little pricey it was like $60 for some fighting gloves and i seen another site where they were $35 but i wouldnt mind more choices

Don’t bother with ITP VoIP, its one step away from FRAUD. They have not listed a physical address and their business hours are unknown as of March 25th 2009. Although ITP VoIP states the order will take 1-3 days to process and no longer than 7 days to receive your equipment, your order will not get processed until a telephone number is assigned for you. If you cancel your order because you cannot wait any longer for ITP VoIP to assign you a telephone number, then be ready to have severe headaches. Even though you haven’t received any equipment, service, and your account has NOT been activated they will SCAM you $29.95 activation fee.

No one goes out of their way to write a bad review, however do NOT believe those good reviews on other websites because most likely ITP VoIP employees wrote them. The only reason I ordered their Plan is because of those good reviews that I read on those website and now I am going out of my way to enlighten the public about ITP VoIP.

I’m trying to find out if Makita makes decent power tools, from what I’ve read online even their general models are strong, and long lasting. Every review I’ve read about them is positive, does everyone agree?
