It would also behoove both Indian and Sri Lanka interests to recall that there is no free trade agreement between India and Sri Lanka and that India owes Sri Lanka a vast amount for giving rise to regional terrorism over the past 30 years.
He said that the quality, fashion, design and the stitch of Sri Lankan garments are very good, but the fabrics have to be sourced from other countries and therefore this is a win win situation for both countries as they can take advantage of the FTA between India and Sri Lanka.

Here is another guy that doesn’t seem to know that a free trade agreement does not exist between India and Sri Lanka. Also what the win-win situation is in this paradigm has yet to be explained as it is not clear what the environmental and economic damages of what I assume are non eco-friendly plants (for that is not mentioned) will cause in Sri Lanka. Regardless of what may be touted in newspapers Sri Lanka will not be a nation that has industrial zones eminating industrial waste in each district for that would cause a deathly anamoly for both the population and the environment.
