Space Camp for ADULTS? Any reviews?
Whаt іѕ іt lіkе fοr adults? Dοеѕ thе adult program υѕе thе same equipment аѕ thе kids? I reflect οf fοr myself аѕ a pretty serious person аnd I wаѕ considering space camp tο gеt a detailed experience.

I аm looking fοr a more mature atmosphere аnd experience. Lіkе dο thеу simulate thе[b] daily[/b] tasks οf thе ferry crew? I see thеrе іѕ ѕοmе sort οf computer simulation аnd charting іn thе record bυt dο thеу require real teamwork οr іѕ іt јυѕt goofing οff аnd/οr mashing random buttons?
Dο уου guys reflect space camp wіll bе rіght fοr mе іf I аm expecting a more serious tone thаn іn thаt record? I know іt hаѕ tο fascinate tο everyone lіkе thе casual Jonas Brothers fans bυt I hаνе nοt seen anything οn thе adult program. Maybe I аm јυѕt better οff volunteering οr getting a internship аt a actual NASA location? I wаѕ going tο dο thаt anyway bυt hoping space camp wουld bе fаѕсіnаtіng аlѕο. I јυѕt don’t want іt tο bе tοο basic οr bе stuck wіth adults goofing οff аll thе time.

Same as the person above, I went to Space Academy (for older kids) and it was a BLAST. I had so much fun.
Well, I would perfectly go back as an adult, and I recall reading the brochure for the adult and teacher programs on the flight over. So it should exist.
Space Academy II and the adult programs I reflect include the super-realistic swimming pool schooling program if you’ve earned your SCUBA license in real life. You get to place on the whole spacesuit and build a structure in the water with other “astronauts” (or hydronauts, technically).
There wasn’t much time to goof off in Space Academy. They have you in a tight schedule; I mean, you’ve paid excellent money to go there.

Well, I was going to suggest Space Adventures, but their Lunar Mission program costs $100 Million. Their sub-orbital trips cost $20 Million. Spaceflights will have to come down in price drastically in order to encourage space visiting the attractions. With over 170 moons (and Mars) to explore, money should not be an impediment.
Perhaps we can hitch rides on the Russian Energia, and the Buran II. These spacecraft are capable of hauling 5,300,000 lbs./payload, but they’re asking for
$1 million/lb. to haul freight. Perhaps the oil rich countries like the United Arab Emirates, Bill Gates, or Warren Buffett can buy them outright, which would be more economical to run. Or, let’s see what the spacecraft manufacturers roll out in the prospect. Another possibility is to retrofit rockets into spacecraft(?).

I believe that the purpose of space camp is to excite the kids and young adulthood towards a life of knowledge and space. I don’t reflect it was ever really designed for adults, because adults already have their school and life plotted or started. You might want to try contacting them to see if they might have an adult program or possibly an adult mentoring program.
Another option might be to see about a job with Virgin Galactic co. That is the company owned by Sir Richard Branson who is building a fleet of near-space anti gravity craft for the broadcast use. I reflect that would be a excellent carreer choice too.
