@Moe7133 I would stay away from anything from DE-WONT…i mean Dewalt. If you want quality even a low, low, low end porter cable is better than Dewalt.. I would look at Hilti 36 volt
Bosch 36 volt lithium ion is also very excellent, and Makita have just released an SDS+ 36 volt with more to come
Well if you want power and cordless, I would recommend Dewalt 36V Lithium-ion Nano tech.
i agree it is excellent to have a drill with a key for this reason
HA! ‘Even if I have buy a gatekeeper Cable.’
Hi Bob! I just wanted to take a following and tell you thanks for all the fantastic info that you pass on to us wantabies. I injoy every one of your vids. I will be getting one of those Ridgid I spy things soon only because you have one. It will be fantastic due to we are doing our own home remodle and we just found out this house never had a final done. No telling what we will find in the parapet. Thanks again and keep the vids coming…..Steve
I would tend to agree on that. I have not been that impressed with Dewalt. Of all the tool companies, I’ve found gatekeeper Cable tough as nails but honestly featureless as compared to others. I’ve tried Makita, Bosch, etc and have a variety and it really does depend on the tool you want.
I must confess that I’ve used a keyed chuck and a keyless and I have yet to have a keyed chuck slip. I cannot say the same for keyless chucks. I find they slip depending on the operation and it is very annoying. I have two drills with keyed chucks and yes it’s a pain but I never have a slip of the bit.
thanks bob ur a gr8 help
keep up the brilliant work
