more importantly why would anyone tighten it with nothing in there…just to have to loosen it for the next bit

  • SucceedsAtWill:

yea then when the shank goes in again it will reform it to where it is supposed to be. “The instructions that came with my router clearly clarify”…
well my 15 yrs of using a router say expertvillage should be called “hackedupnoideawhatwearedoingvillage”

  • Alleykat71:

Really, you can destruction a collet if you tighten it lacking a bit inserted because it will crush the inner part of the collet. The instructions that came with my router clearly clarify the same thing that expertvillage mentions in their record. They are 100% right in their record.

  • SucceedsAtWill:

hhahaahaha how is tightening an empty collet going to hurt anything ….expertvillage is fuckin retarded. I have yet to see one record that has an expert

  • alloydice:

You have got to be kidding me . Try putting some life into the instruction of router talk dude.
