Day at the range – Boomstickkole’s Mosin Nagant

First time shooting thе Mosin. Izhevsk production, year 1943. Shot two boxes аt 50 yds, thе front sight wаѕ a bit bеnt, dіd’nt υѕе a scope – over аll I wаѕ satisfied wіth a bead spread under 5″. Classic gun, kicks lіkе a beast аnd іѕ a heck οf a lot οf fun tο shoot.

  • landmine21:

lol thats so right, and imagine if he shot him with an m4! rofl

  • rifleman1122:

Mr. Kalashnikov would shoot you for saying that. the two guns are nothing alike above and beyond their general profile.

  • FpsGamer43:

naw maybe around 75 cents each since a 310 shotgun shell is about a buck

  • yesiamawizardjonny:

Yeah, the AK-47 was a Russian Modeled version of the MP43/MP44 German SturmGewehr

  • cwis999:

hey man where is that that looks like the place my dad goes all the time

  • xEasySnipesx:

Do they make that gun as an airsoft gun? Cause that would be badass

  • MuktownSniper:

No, that’s extremely expensive for military surplus ammo. I reflect it’s around $0.30 but some guys at the array that let me shoot their mosin said around $0.03. But they come in boxes of 20, usually for $8 each box.

  • boomstickkole:

It depends, theres alot of factors. What year it was produced, where it was produced, what style of mosin it is, its condition, # of trademarks/stamps on the gun, If it was used in battle, how many original parts it still has, how many extras it comes with.
For reference, mine was $90, all original, never used in combat, fantastic shape, non-octagonal, Izhevsk production, year 1943, with bayonette/small bag/grease can

  • ASnipingZebra:

  • nerve500:

really cockroaches can NOT survive a nuclear explosion. but there is a type of wasp that can survive the radiation.

  • charliIssocoolllike:

Fuck all the shells on the floor :P

  • n01c3m:

    it’s a russian clone of the mp44 (the ak47)

  • AETrainingDavid97:

Ahhh, the Mosin Nagant… I don’t know why, but I always liked how that rifle looks.

  • kurtusky13:

The AK 47 is modeled after the SKS rifle i believe. they look very similar and fire the same round(i reflect).the sks does not have a pistol grip though, and the barrel is a modest longer than the ak 47 i reflect.

  • JustCallMeAndreW:

i reflect the ak was a variation of the mp44

  • Stratocaster05:

The AK-47 was way different than the Mosin. The AK fired a 7.62x39mm bullet, while the Mosin fired a 7.62x54mm bullet, which kicks way more and has far better accuracy and stopping power. They had different designers too. They’re way different. If you were trying to be amusing, you failed. If you were serious, I pity you.

  • armadaofplanes3:

yep only 2 things can survive a nuclear war… cockroaches, and Russian guns

  • jalacy93:

they made a fully auto version of this
    it has a pistol grip

it was called the ak 47…

  • TDUShelby:

In person, I rather the Kar98k over the Mosin, but I place of protection’t shot either one, so I don’t really have an educated opinion.

  • tboy1022:

    i got mine for 96.99

  • drummingkid150:

yeah i have shot that…kicks a modest lol

  • imissbush:
