2 packs of battieries are too heavy to use handle / hold

  • hangebicom:

Go and buy Black & Decker FireStorm series batteries, they fit dewalt tools directly, cost twice less, but also work not so excellent as original.

One thing you could try also is to change the internal battery packs for a Ryobi juste re-installing them in the same order resoldering them as the Dewalt packs are , I do own a multitude of dewalt batteries operated tools and I never pay $89 for them even worst here in canada they sell them $120.00 so I buy them from discount store like toolking with a reconditioned tools and they end up getting them for $30 with a free spare tools package .

This is nearly cool… the only problem is your adapter is way too huge. People are willing to pay the difference for a flat cover flat pannel tv and get rid of the ancient clunky tube for a reason. Shiny light compact. a three inch adapter is rediculous. you nearly have yourself a fantastic product keep working on it. Im not trying to discourage you but im trying to give you constructive criticizm. If that doesnt work Ill erase this comment and try a different approach

    Excellent job,

Ever reflect about using the 1.2 volt Sub-C cells from the ryobi to replace your terrible dewalt cells??

…. I would have cut down the ancient dewalt as close to the clip as i could. wow thats a full of stout!

    Hilti. Outperform. Outlast

Sound like dummy to buy something to try to save in otherthing, is not the same cost ?? because I’m sure that adapter is not forever like the battery. so you will buy a Ryobi battery and the adapter mmmm…. no sound excellent

  • greg11025:

excellent thought but the battery pack is twice the size of the drill, in hvac it might be tough to fit all of that where i need to get it, how simple is it to swap the cells out?

edstar83 > “.. buy ryobi power tools. why pay twice as much ..”

In my case, the choice was based on the sheer breadth of Dewalt cordless tools. Ryobi has only a limited selection of the tools they do place forward (one 18v drill, one 18v circular saw, one 18v jig saw, etc), while also not donation several additional tools available from Dewalt (sheet metal shear, circular saws with larger blades, higher voltage tools, etc). Also a superior selection of third-party accessories for the Dewalt tools.

That’s pretty excellent! there’s all kinds of ways to save. thanks for the thought!

  • ripmtb:

Just take the cells out off the ryobi and place them in the dewalt

  • WVhoeman:

  • Q4JULY33063:

I BUY my DEWALT drills and batteries at the PAWN SHOP $30 bucks drill 2 batts and charger and case….. the pawn guy saves them for me

  • edstar83:

if they rip you off with the battery they rip you off with the power tools

  • edstar83:

just buy ryobi power tools. why pay twice as much for the same battery just different name on it.

  • PIGPEN1979:

Home Depot and Lowes has 2 dewalt batteries for $120 and on Black Friday 2 batteries and a drill for only $100

  • fwoodman:
